Advice & preparation

For a successful stay, and to ensure smooth operations at our esf, we kindly ask you to read these recommendations.
The smooth running of the lesson depends on both the instructor and each student
  • Arrive early at the meeting points specified on your lesson card. You must carry your card to all sessions, including private lessons.
  • If you have chosen a package that includes lift passes, your ski pass (magnetic card) should be placed in the left pocket of your jacket to facilitate access at each lift.
  • Participation in a lesson does not exempt the student from being somewhat independent and does not mean they are entirely under the instructor's responsibility while executing the exercises. The student must ensure their own safety.
Make sure to properly equip your child
Equipment is not provided by the esf.
  • Children should come to lessons fully equipped (skis, boots, helmet).
  • Don’t forget to ensure your child is properly dressed for a great experience in the best conditions! This includes a winter hat, gloves, goggles, a scarf, and sunscreen.
  • No poles are needed until the 1ère Étoile level.
  • If your child needs to go on the slopes, please make sure they have a ski pass (from the "Flocon" level onwards; for lower levels, the instructor will let you know during the week if a pass is required).

Important Information
  • Programmes and schedules may be altered during the season by the esf management.
  • Weather conditions and lift breakdowns are beyond the control of the instructors.
  • The actual duration of lessons may be shortened due to factors beyond our control. No refunds will be issued.

Insurance
Students are not insured by the esf. To avoid the risks and financial troubles of an accident, we recommend taking out Carré Neige insurance:
