ADVICE AND FURTHER INFORMATION

To enjoy the benefits that skiing and winter sport learning with ESF can offer, we ask you to obey and to comply with the following rules that ensure your safety and enjoyment.

For all reservations please ensure you read and agree the terms and conditions.

THE DIRECTION AND COURSE CONTENT IS DEPENDENT ON BOTH THE INSTRUCTOR AND YOU!

  • Arrive in advance at the meeting point displayed on you or your child's lesson card. You must be in possession of your card at all sessions even for private lessons.
  • If you choose a course with ski lifts, your ski pass (magnetic card) must be placed in the left pocket of your jacket which facilitates the passage to the controls of each lift.
  • Your participation in any lesson does also require you to take care of your own safety even in the presence of an ESF instructor. The safety elements are direction based and does not include ESF responsibility for actions out of their control.

ENSURE YOUR CHILD IS EQUIPPED CORRECTLY

The following equipment and clothes are not provided in our services.
  • Children must come to lessons equipped where required: skis, helmet, ski boots, gloves.
  • Do not forget to equip your child to have a good time in the best conditions! (hat or beanie, gloves, sunglasses, scarf and sunscreen.
  • No ski poles until the 1st Star Class.
  • If your child has to get on the slopes, please equip them with a lift pass (From the "Flocon" level, for the low levels, the instructor will tell you during the week if the ski pass is necessary).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Lesson programmes and schedules can be modified during the season by the ESF management.
  • Atmospheric conditions and ski lift failures can not be attributed to the instructors.
  • Actual course time may be reduced for reasons beyond our control. No refund will be made.

  • Students are not insured by the ESF. To avoid the financial risks and inconvenience of an accident, we advise you to take Carré Neige insurance:

SNAKE GLISS (Snake-like toboggan)

Join us alone or with family and friends to experience the ESF Tignes Val Claret - Snake Gliss!

Once the slopes close, join us at the top of Tovière by taking the chairlift 'Tufs'.
Then live an unforgettable descent by "sledge train" accompanied by our instructors!

EQUIPMENT NECESSARY:
Helmet
Gloves
Ski suit
Footwear other than ski boots

EVENING IN THE YURT

It's a great evenings entertainment, however:

  • You don't need to over dress as the Yurt is heated. Remember you are sledging down to prepare for warmth here! 
  • Do not forget your gloves, hats and scarves for sledging!
  • Meet between 6:45pm and 7:15pm at the foot of the Palafour chairlift in Tignes le Lac
