Is it your child's first time skiing?

They will start with the Ourson level in the safe environment of the kindergarten. Throughout the week, children will gain confidence on their skis and have fun under the guidance of their instructor in a friendly atmosphere. The goal is for them to master the basic techniques to get comfortable with slopes, and most importantly, to have fun with their friends.

Ski Discovery
Children aged 6 to 12 who are skiing for the first time train to achieve the Ourson level.

During their first skiing experiences with an instructor, children will discover new sensations in group ski lessons tailored for beginners, within the safe environment of the kindergarten.

In groups of up to 10 students, these lessons allow each child to progress at their own pace under the best conditions.

 3 and 4 days group lessons:
Our 3/4 days group ski lessons are not offered during the French school holidays.
(Medals are not included for group lesson of less than 5 days)

The ESF Tignes Val Claret offers two insurance policies for your stay in Tignes:
> In case of a ski accident during your stay, we recommend you to opt for the "Carré Neige" insurance.
> For a stay in complete serenity, we recommend you to choose an Cancellation insurance.
(These insurance will be offered as an option during your online booking!)
Group lessons booking informations :
> All bookings once made are firm and final, you are responsible for the registration in our ESF lessons...!
> Check the booking's details before to confirm your booking:
   - Dates of stay
   - Age of children
   - Period (morning/ afternoon/ day)
   - Level
> In case of mistake, we will not be able to guarantee availability in our courses, and we will NOT REFUND.

 > At the Kindergarden for the children beginners, situated under 'Bollin' chairlift in Tignes Val Claret, opposite Belambra Val Claret Hotel.

Will my child earn a medal?
Yes! Each child receives their ski medal at the end of the week !
The medal ceremony takes place every Friday, 15 minutes before the end of your child's lesson.
Does my child need a ski pass?
No, the ski pass is not necessary for children beginners registered at Pioupiou Club. (Our garden has its own lifts, allowing children to learn skiing in the best conditions and safely)
Does my child need to bring a snack?
If you can put a cereal bar in the pocket it will help if your child gets hungry.
I have booked a course at esf, do I have the guarantee that it will take place?
The organization of the course is guaranteed for a minimum number of participants depending on the type of course chosen. If the number of students is not sufficient, we will offer private lessons.
Do I need to equip my child with protections?
For children and adults, wearing an helmet is highly recommended for skiing or snowboarding!
Are instructors qualified to teach young children?
Of course, each instructor trains for many years before they can teach skiing. One of the initial tests they must pass involves teaching skiing to young children. Our instructors are therefore fully qualified and certified to work with young children.
