You can book for a single child or form a small private group of 1 to 3 children of similar levels, with family or friends.

Taking place between 12.15pm and 2pm, the lesson ensures minimal crowds on the slopes and at the ski lifts

Half and full day private lessons
For a stay in complete serenity!
The ESF Tignes Val Claret offers two insurance policies for your stay in Tignes:
> In case of a ski accident during your stay, we recommend you to opt for the "Carré Neige" insurance.
> For a stay in complete serenity, we recommend you to choose an Cancellation insurance.
(These insurance will be offered as an option during your online booking!)
Private lessons information :
 > In the event of an injury, please contact your insurance company for a refund.
 > Private lessons can only be cancelled or refunded up to 24h in advance.
        > All bookings made on the day or on the day before the private lesson will not be refundable or modifiable.
 > Bad weather conditions are not a valid reason for cancelling private lessons.

Frequently asked questions
where IS the meeting point?
 > At the esf kindergarden for the children beginners from 3 to 5 years old (Pioupiou et Ourson). 
 > From the Ourson obtained, the meeting point is situated front of our main esf office, on the snow front of Tignes Val Claret, close to the "Tufs" chairlift (The meeting point will be indicated during your booking).
Does my child need to bring a snack?
If you can put a cereal bar in the pocket it will help if your child gets hungry.
Does my child need a ski pass?
Up to 1st Etoile ski and snowboard level, a ski pass is not required. In private lessons, the instructor may ask you during the week, depending on the progress of the course participants. (Our Jardin des Neiges is equipped with its own ski lifts, and Tignes offers many free ski lifts!)
Will my child earn a medal?
In private lessons, medals are not included in the course fee. The instructor will evaluate the child during classes, and you can buy the medal in our esf offices.
Do I need to equip my child with protections?
For children and adults, wearing an helmet is highly recommended for skiing or snowboarding!
Are instructors qualified to teach young children?
Of course, each instructor trains for many years before they can teach skiing. One of the initial tests they must pass involves teaching skiing to young children. Our instructors are therefore fully qualified and certified to work with young children.
