A SKI COURSE TO HELP YOU PUSH YOUR LIMITS

The course takes place in the slalom stadium. esf Tignes Val Claret provides competitive instructors to introduce, refine, and train your child to ski competition.

The programme includes intensive foundational skiing, technical analysis by the instructors, and training in Giant Slalom and Special Slalom within the esf Tignes Val Claret ski stadium.

Ski Competition
With personalised coaching from their instructor, your child will be optimally prepared to race against the clock during the timed Flèche and Chamois races at the end of the week!

The Flèche and Chamois slalom tests are included in the price of the course. Just before their run, the children will inspect the piste and receive a technical analysis from their instructors.

The content of the afternoon courses of the Competition Course is different from the morning courses...
The course lasts 2h30 and focuses on ski technique (Many exercises on the stadium, drawn especially for our participants without a timer).
Meals supervised by our instructors between 12pm and 2.15pm :
> In our partner restaurants located in Tignes Val Claret. This option will be offered during your online booking on our website! (Places are limited, we recommend to book in advance)

The ESF Tignes Val Claret offers two insurance policies for your stay in Tignes:

In case of a ski accident during your stay, we recommend you to opt for the "Carré Neige" insurance.
> For a stay in complete serenity, we recommend you to choose an Cancellation insurance.
(These insurance will be offered as an option during your online booking!)

where IS the meeting point?
For teens registered to the Competition course, the meeting point is situated at the ESF meeting point on the snow front of Tignes Val Claret, close to the "Tufs" chairlift.

What level is required to join the competition course?
The level Gold Star or Flechette is required to join this course.
Will my teen run timed races?
The "Flèche et Chamois" races are included in the price of the Competition course. A few minutes before their arrival, the participants of the course will carry out a reconnaissance of the route and a technical analysis with their specialized coaches.
Will my teen earn a medal?
In the Competition course, the medal is not included. However, the ski races during the week are included. You can buy the ski race medal in our esf offices.
Does my teen need a ski pass?
Yes, the Tignes Val d'Isère ski pass is required!
Does my teen need to bring a snack?
If you can put a cereal bar in the pocket it will help if your teen gets hungry.
(An option of "Meals supervised by our instructors" will be offered during your online booking!)
Do I need to equip my teen with protections?
For teens and adults, wearing an helmet is highly recommended for skiing or snowboarding!
I have booked a course at esf, do I have the guarantee that it will take place?
The organization of the course is guaranteed for a minimum number of participants depending on the type of course chosen. If the number of students is not sufficient, we will offer private lessons.
I cannot find the lesson and lift pass package online to book. Is this possible to book online?
