For those with an intermediate level, Ski Touring can also be enjoyed with descents down the marked pistes.

For a stay in complete serenity!
The ESF Tignes Val Claret offers two insurance policies for your stay in Tignes:

In case of a ski accident during your stay, we recommend you to opt for the "Carré Neige" insurance.
> For a stay in complete serenity, we recommend you to choose an Cancellation insurance.
(These insurance will be offered as an option during your online booking!)
Private lessons information :
 > In the event of an injury, please contact your insurance company for a refund.
 > Private lessons can only be cancelled or refunded up to 24h in advance.
        > All bookings made on the day or on the day before the private lesson will not be refundable or modifiable.
 > Bad weather conditions are not a valid reason for cancelling private lessons.

Frequently asked questions
where IS the meeting point?
The meeting point is situated front of our esf main office, on the snow front of Tignes Val Claret, close to the "Tufs" chairlift.
We are 3 friends. Is it possible to share the same instructor?
Yes, private lessons can accommodate 1 to 5 students ! However, it's important that you are at the same level. (We also propose private lessons till 8 people)
Is it a price per people or a price per instructor?
The price indicated is a price per instructor ! For example, it's the same price for 3 or 4 people !
for a ski touring private lesson, do i nedd a ski pass?
Usually, we use the ski lifts to access to the start of the ski touring session, so the instructor will tell you if you need a ski pass according to the itinerary chosen.
I never did ski touring before, can i book a private lesson to try?
Yes! For beginner or experienced skier, we recommended to be accompanied by a specialized instructor to do ski touring, and enjoy the best off piste runs of Tignes and Val d'Isère in security.
I have my own ski equipment, do i need to rent special ski equipment for ski touring?
The ski equipment for ski touring is specific, especially the bindings which permit to go up with skins, and enjoy your run when you will be at the end of the hike. You need also a special ski boots, with a walk function for more comfort during the hike (Lot of rental shops in Tignes propose ski touring equipment). All safety equipment is included in the price of your ski touring trip in a private lesson.
Do I need to equip myself with protection?
To go in ski or snowboard off piste session, wearing an helmet is obligatory !
